Dr. Armand Kainoa Chong
Dr. Armand Kainoa Chong was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and graduated from ‘Iolani School. He later attended Oregon State University on a football scholarship and the University of Hawaii, School of Medicine on an academic scholarship through the Imi Ho’ola program, an accelerated program for health careers of Pacific Islanders. Dr. Chong finished his final prerequisites for dental school at Chaminade University of Honolulu in 1984. He attended dental school at the University of Missouri – Kansas until 1988 and was later accepted in a General Practice Residency Program at St. Francis Medical Center where he worked until 1989. In 1990, he opened a private practice in Honolulu where he has been serving patients ever since.
Additionally, Dr. Chong serves as a dental consultant at Avalon Care Center, Convalescent Care Center of Hawaii, Hale Pulama Mau (Kuakini), Island Nursing Home, Kahala Nui, Oahu Care Facility and One Kalakaua.
